Brian East – Founder and Managing Director

The principal tasks for me are to specify the long-term objectives of the company and its short-term goals. I must chart the direction to be followed, and set an urgent (but safe!) pace to achieve them. I try to cope with the unexpected en route, which always threatens to undermine one’s most carefully laid plans and endeavours.

I take the lead in marketing.

One of my most important tasks is to ensure that every part of the enterprise works harmoniously within a common hierarchy of priorities.

I am particularly responsible for the good character of the company and the ethos within it.

It is an important part of my rôle to encourage, help and stimulate my colleagues and to facilitate their work. The vast majority of us have been in the organisation for several years. We are a happy team and it is a privilege to be a part of it.

Lorna Williams – Secretary to the Managing Director

I have been with the company since March 2001 and my responsibilities are wide and varied to encompass the running of the Managing Director’s office. My tasks include the management of the documentation system; internal and external communication for the Managing Director and other staff members; the production of reports, spreadsheets and analyses upon request and the maintenance of the Managing Director’s diary, including the making of appointments, organising business travel arrangements and the compilation of itineraries for travel.

In addition to these important areas, I am also involved in the creation of the Exmoor catalogue, brochures, leaflets and advertisements; promotional material for exhibitions and the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for the Managing Director.

I joined the company in April 2004. I do my best to ease the work-load on Lorna, in this busy environment.
