Technique
                  

The smaller pattern may be located in a 0.8mm. stapedotomy, covered with a vein graft, into which the 0.4mm. diameter shaft nestles securely. This technique makes for good high tones, while the risk of adhesion is minimised and the delay before inflation is reduced.

The grade of material selected for this device has an excellent ‘memory’, which means that the loop tends to grasp the incus firmly.
